‘Being a #casiopro represents to me, the flexibility to continue to hone & practice my musical knowledge on a modern yet still traditional-feeling keyboard. The weighted keys allow me to play in a way that brings even more realness to my production" - LOUIS VI

Louis VI, (also 1 half of hip hop group Othasoul) is quickly showing all the signs of a heavyweight, genre bending artist. In March 2017 Louis was invited stateside by a producer of Isaiah Rashad,  meeting a seminal influence on his work in Erykah Badu, joining in live performances with the renowned label In Good Company and also working from out of Bilal's studio in hip hop’s spiritual heart of NYC.

As a seasoned performer, having toured internationally with his group, Othasoul and as a solo artist, Louis has supported Wu-Tan-Clan's RZA at XOYO, London, Talib Kweli and  Joyce Wrice to name but few.

Being naturally experimental, Louis’ music touches on various profound topics, from life’s everyday grind, to philosophical musings on the paradigm shifts we are presently witnessing in music culture.  His first solo EP ‘The Lonely Road of The Dreamer’is indicative of this unique approach.

Noisey magazine stating, "hints of Isaiah Rashad and the bubbling lilts of Thundercat, [Louis VI] tonally sits in the new school of progressive hip-hop.”

Solange's Saint Heron  calling the EP a work of "primal, introspective glory....In eight tracks, the London native fuses neo-soul inspired trap production with his personal lyrical analyses of the sometimes troubling real life state of simply being."
